Cavallino Classic Modena, an exclusive Concorso “where it all began”
Honoring Enzo
May 17-19, 2024
Bringing a carefully curated number of significant collectible Ferraris to Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari’s dream, is an act of profound respect and a warm homage to those who made the history of the Cavallino possible.
The fourth edition of the Cavallino Modena, which is not open to the public but reserved for an elite group of guests, will take place from May 17th to 19th in Modena’s luxurious Casa Maria Luigia and its enchanting park. This event will also showcase the celebrated hospitality and culinary art of renowned Chef Massimo Bottura to create an overall atmosphere of excellence.
The Classes
The periods being highlighted in each class begin with pre-1961, defined as models before the GTO era, 1962 to 1970, including the 365 GTC4 and its front-engine design, and 1971 to 1997, starting with the rear engine of the BB and concluding with the revolutionary 355 F1 Berlinetta.
Cavallino Modena may add other specific classes if suitable.
Numerous awards will be presented including the coveted Best of Show and the prestigious Platinum Awards, reserved for vehicles that impress the jury comprised almost exclusively of American judges from the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic.
The Program
Friday, May 17th: cars registration and positioning on the prestigious field of Casa Maria Luigia. Welcome dinner with the interpretation of the traditional dishes by Massimo Bottura. The weekend’s highlight arrives on Saturday 18th when, in addition to the judging and the gala awards ceremony following a dinner crafted by the masterful Massimo Bottura, a parade of the participating cars will take place in the afternoon. The following Sunday will take attendees on a scenic hillside journey, tracing the paths of Ferrari’s test drivers to Casa Canossa, where lunch awaits in the finest Emilian tradition.
New Opportunities
For Cavallino Modena participants and their guests, there is also the option to extend their stay with captivating opportunities. The week before our event, the Grand Prix Historique de Monaco will take place, where Canossa will offer hospitality overlooking the famous “Fairmont Hairpin”, and the week after, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este will grace the shores of Lake Como.
Should you wish to take advantage of these opportunities, “Atelier Canossa” can design a magnificent road trip between Portofino and Tuscany, where a friend of Cavallino is the caretaker of the luxurious Villa Ardore—a magical retreat to enjoy before or after the Modena Concorso d’Eleganza. Additionally, Atelier Canossa is ready to guide you to other enchanting destinations that will fit your desires.
